Had Enough?

Little bundle of love by Nate Bosscher

If you've had enough of our little baby girl, don't look at this photo set - 40 our of 43 are of Louisa, just sittin' around looking cute for her parents. Most are from when she was 1 or 2 months old. Today Louisa is 3 months! As much as I get sick of people saying, "enjoy it, it goes by so fast," I guess it's true. Click on the photo above if you have not had enough :) Enjoy!

California, Baby!

We traveled to Monterey, California to visit JP, Grace and Cohen as well as Georgia and her marvelous aquarium. The trip was lovely and we had a great time seeing the amazing things Georgia gets to do each day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. She's living the dream! JP, Grace and Cohen are only in CA for a couple more months, so we decided we needed to visit! We tasted wine, went whale watching, visited with my friend Jess and enjoyed plenty of great family time with our siblings. Thanks for a great trip everyone!

The Whole Family!

The Whole Family! by Nate Bosscher

Matthew's Naval Academy graduation was a great excuse for everyone to gather in Washington DC over Memorial Day weekend. He looked so happy and proud as he walked up to receive his diploma! The timing was perfect too, since Louisa was just about 4 weeks old. Everyone was able to meet her and the weekend was laid back enough for two exhausted new parents. This is one of my favorite pictures from our family photo shoot. Click on it to see the rest of our DC pictures!

Wiggling, smiling and starting to talk!

I know this is way more entertaining for Nate and me than it might be for you, but recently we've been loving Louisa's smiles, eye contact and little baby noises. We have some fun pictures from recent trips to Michigan and California, so check back in a few days!

Sunday in the Park

Mini adventures don't have to be far from home, do they?  Last Sunday we went to a local state park and, while we didn't do any hiking, it helped me to feel more like our old selves.  Nate practiced his banjo, I read a book, and Ries pretended to be excited about the dog swimming area, but never actually went swimming.  Being the easy-going girl that she is, Louisa hung just hung out.  Summer is so nice.

How's She Sleeping?

By far the most common question I get about Louisa is "how's she sleeping?" or similarly, "are you getting any sleep?"  We're lucky, I think, because she's sleeping great and as a result we're getting plenty of sleep!  Louisa has been sleeping in her crib at night since about week 2 or 3.  Generally she sleeps from 9 pm to 11 pm wherever we happen to be - in the living room or out at The Great Dane after frisbee.  When we go to be around 11 pm, we put her in her crib and she sleeps until 5 am, when she wakes up for an early breakfast.  Apparently satisfied, she goes back to sleep until about 9 am!  Thanks for the sleep, Little Lou!
